Asset Management Disposal of Surplus Property

Walpole Coast Protection - Coping Replacement

The procurement and award of a contract to a skilled, experienced and qualified contractor is required for the Walpole Coast Protection, Coping Replacement project to be completed. The project is 100% grant funded capital works to replace a dilapidated section of sea wall between Hodges Gap and Newgate Gap. The estimated value of the contract will be £1m.

AI Policy

To bring forward an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy for the organisation.   The policy has been created to outline the council’s AI governance, responsibilities, risk management and operational processes. It applies to all council officers, Councillors, contractors and subcontractors.    The policy has been subject to 30 day consultation with staff and the council’s recognised trade unions.   Following consideration at the General Purposes Committee, the policy has now been reviewed by the Cabinet.
