Surrey Council's Planning and Regulatory Committee met on 29 May 2024 and made the following decisions:

AGM, Council - Tuesday, 21 May 2024 10.00 am

The meeting saw Councillor Saj Hussain and Councillor Tim Hall re-elected unopposed as Chair and Vice-Chair of the council respectively. It also saw the adoption of the scheme of proportionality for the coming year, approval of the appointment of various committees, chairmen and vice-chairmen, as well as the appointment of Michael Coughlin as Interim Head of Paid Service from 3 June 2024 to 18 August 2024. Matthew Woods was also appointed as the independent member of the Audit and Governance Committee for a period of four years.

Joint Health and Overview Scrutiny Committee (Frimley Park Hospital) - Friday, 17 May 2024 2.30 pm

The Joint Health and Overview Scrutiny Committee (Frimley Park Hospital) of Surrey Council met to discuss the Frimley Park New Hospital Programme. The Committee agreed to the Terms of Reference for the project and received a presentation on the progress made so far.

Communities, Environment and Highways Select Committee - Monday, 29 April 2024 10.00 am

The meeting began with a discussion about Surrey Connect, the Council’s ‘Digital Demand Responsive Transport’ (DDRT) scheme for areas of the county with limited public transport.

The Committee unanimously agreed to register part of Stokes Field in Long Ditton, Surrey as a Town or Village Green (TVG).
