The East Sub-Area Planning Committee met to discuss two planning applications and note an appeals report. Councillors approved the conversion of a historic building in Menheniot, and delegated authority to the Chief Planning Officer to approve an application for affordable housing in Widegates.

Street Trading and Pavement Licensing Sub Committee - Wednesday, 25th June, 2025 10.00 am

The Street Trading and Pavement Licensing Sub Committee met to discuss applications for street trading consents. A consent for Mr Mike Lewin, trading as 'Crab Shack', to sell food and drink from a converted horsebox in Falmouth was granted. A decision on an application by Julie McLauchlin, trading as 'Barrow Boys', to sell crepes and other foods from a handcart in Newquay was deferred.

Miscellaneous Licensing Committee - Friday, 20th June, 2025 10.00 am

The Miscellaneous Licensing Committee convened to address licensing policy and individual applications, ultimately recommending the revised Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle, Operator and Driver Licensing Policy for Council approval, while also refusing two applications for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Driver's Licences.

Licensing Act Sub Committee - Wednesday, 11th June, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Act Sub Committee of Cornwall Council met on Wednesday to consider applications for premises licences for the Cornish Craft Barn Ltd and The Ritz. Both applications had received objections from other persons, and so were scheduled to be discussed at a hearing.
