Licensing Sub Committee - Tuesday, 4th March, 2025 2.00 p.m.

The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider two applications for new premises licences, for 9 Morgan Street and for Shoreditch & Soul at 110-116 Cheshire Street. The committee agreed to grant the application for 9 Morgan Street, with conditions, but did not make a decision on the application for Shoreditch & Soul. The application for Shoreditch & Soul is to be dealt with by officers under delegated powers.

The Council agreed to approve the 2025/26 budget report and the Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) 2025-28. It was also agreed to adopt the Treasury Management Strategy Statement, Investment Strategy Report and Capital Strategy Report for 2025-26. The Member Allowance Scheme for 2025/26 was also approved.

Children and Young People’s Supported Housing Pathway

...to ensure continued and high-quality services for vulnerable children and young people, the Cabinet approved the re-procurement of the Tower Hamlets Children and Young People’s Supported Housing Pathway contract for three years, with the option for two 12-month extensions, starting June 1st, 2026, at an annual value of £1,783,325, and authorized the Corporate Director of Children's Services to award the contract to the best value bidder.
