The Licensing Sub-Committee B of Hackney Council convened to address a premises licence variation application for EartH, and to consider a standing item regarding temporary event notices. The sub-committee approved both the recommendations for the temporary event notices and the application to vary a premises licence for EartH.

Licensing Sub Committee C - Tuesday 12 August 2025 7.00 pm

The Licensing Sub Committee C met on 12 August 2025 to discuss a premises licence application for Batch Baby and a variation of premises licence for The Last Tuesday Society. The committee approved the premises licence for Batch Baby and approved the variation of premises licence for The Last Tuesday Society, subject to amended conditions.

Council - Wednesday 23 July 2025 7.00 pm

The Hackney Council meeting on 23 July 2025 addressed violence against women and girls, community consultation, youth justice, members' allowances, and various reports. Councillors approved the Youth Justice Strategic Partnership Plan 2025-28, the Members’ Allowances Scheme 2025-26, and a motion to work together against violence towards women and girls. They also noted the Strategic Plan Update Report 2024/25, the Audit Committee Annual Report 2024-25, and the Licensing Committee Annual Report 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.

The Hackney Council Licensing Committee met on 16 July 2025 to discuss the Licensing Service Annual Report, and to answer questions from the public and councillors.

Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission - Thursday 10 July 2025 7.00 pm

The Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission met to discuss access to local GP services, a review of primary care commissioning, and the Healthwatch Hackney annual report. The members were also scheduled to discuss and agree on a work programme for the coming year.
