The Council meeting on 3 March 2025 was scheduled to consider several financial matters including proposed amendments to the Council’s constitution, adoption of a pay policy for 2025/26, agreement of members’ allowances for 2025/26, and the setting of the budget and council tax for 2025/26. The meeting was also due to receive the annual reports of the scrutiny committee chairs, a follow up report to the January themed debate on ‘working with partners’, and to debate three motions from councillors.

This meeting was called following a request by five councillors to discuss the Housing Ombudsman Service's recent report on Camden Council. The Ombudsman's report is highly critical of Camden's Housing Repairs service. It makes a series of recommendations on how the service can be improved.

This meeting was scheduled to receive and consider the Annual Report of the Cabinet Member for Planning and a Sustainable Camden. It was also scheduled to hear updates about the multi-disciplinary Community Safety Enforcement service and the council's Cultural Programme. It was also scheduled to receive updates on two areas that had previously been discussed in the meeting held on 9 December 2024, advertising boards and the council's response to the Circular Economy Panel.
