Special Meeting, Renewal, Recreation and Housing Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday 11 December 2025 6.00 pm

The Renewal, Recreation and Housing Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee are scheduled to discuss a report on the Local Authority Housing Fund Round 4, which sets out proposals for using a £27.6m grant to reduce the cost pressures of temporary accommodation. Pensions Committee - Tuesday 2 December 2025 7.00 pm

The Bromley Council Pensions Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss the performance of the pension fund, and to review the fund's strategic asset allocation. The committee was also expected to discuss the implications of the government's 'Fit for the Future' reforms[^2] which require the fund to transfer its assets to the London Collective Investment Vehicle (LCIV).

Executive - Wednesday 26 November 2025 7.00 pm

The Bromley Council Executive met to discuss budget monitoring, capital programme adjustments, council tax support, the future of library services, housing delivery, and education capital works procurement. The Executive agreed to maintain the existing Council Tax Support Scheme for 2026/27 and recommended it to the Council, approved a revised Capital Programme, and agreed to seek an extension to the existing libraries service contract with Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL). They also authorised the appropriation of land at Castlecombe Youth Centre Car Park for housing purposes.

Executive, Resources and Contracts Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee - Monday 24 November 2025 7.00 pm

The Executive, Resources and Contracts Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee met on 24 November 2025, to discuss a range of issues including treasury management performance, updates on Biggin Hill Airport, and the corporate contract register. The committee supported recommendations related to the Insurance Fund Annual Report, Treasury Management, Capital Programme Monitoring, Payment Management System, Budget Monitoring, and the Council Tax Support Scheme. They also noted reports on matters outstanding, the forward plan, Section 106 agreements, and the corporate contract register.
