The Cabinet of Doncaster Council is scheduled to meet on 10 December 2025 to discuss a range of issues, including the procurement of a new library management system, the acceptance of grant funding for improvements to the North Bridge Crossing, and the financial and performance results for the second quarter of the 2025-26 financial year. Also on the agenda is a proposal to approve entering into a lease to enable the option for the freehold transfer of land and assets in the Waterdale area, and to enter into a sublease to support the Health on the High Street initiative.

The Doncaster Council meeting scheduled for 27 November 2025 included discussion of borrowing approval for the South Yorkshire Airport City project, the adoption of a revised licensing policy, and a review of councillor code of conduct breaches. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss committee seat allocations and the appointment of members to the Independent Remuneration Panel[^2].

Health and Wellbeing Board - Thursday, 6th November, 2025 9.30 am

The Doncaster Health and Wellbeing Board met to discuss creating healthy places, including endorsement of the principles of a draft advertising and sponsorship policy and the five-year Doncaster Food Plan. The board was also scheduled to discuss the Pathways to Work Programme, the Local Plan, and the Future Parks Programme.

Cabinet - Wednesday, 5th November, 2025 10.00 am

Doncaster Council's Cabinet made several key decisions at its meeting on 5 November 2025, including approving funding for sustainable transport improvements in Mexborough, awarding contracts for leisure centre refurbishments, setting the fee for biodiversity units from Red House Farm Habitat Bank, and finalising approvals to support the reopening of Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA). The Cabinet also addressed a public question regarding the recruitment strategy for DSA.

Extraordinary Meeting, Council - Thursday, 23rd October, 2025 4.00 pm

The Council of Doncaster Council scheduled an extraordinary meeting to be held on 23 October 2025. The main item on the agenda was a discussion of revisions to the appointment of chairs and vice-chairs of committees and sub-committees for the 2025/26 municipal year. This followed a requisition to convene an extraordinary meeting made by five Reform UK members of the council.
