This meeting was about making decisions on two applications for new premises licences under the Licensing Act 2003. The first application was for Unit 213, Blenheim Grove, Peckham, and the second was for Units 4 and 5, Dovedale Centre, Blenheim Grove, Peckham. Both of the applications were for cafes and bars seeking to be open until 00:30 each day, and both included requests for the provision of regulated entertainment, and for the sale of alcohol. The applications attracted representations from local residents and from responsible authorities.

Housing, Community Safety and Community Engagement Scrutiny Commission - Monday 25 November 2024 7.00 pm

This meeting was scheduled to include discussion of a range of housing-related issues, as well as the role of resident's groups. The Commission's work programme for the coming year was also on the agenda to be noted.

The meeting approved the Southwark 2030 strategy, the Old Kent Road Area Action Plan: 2024 Draft and noted the Treasury Management – Mid-Year Update 2024-25.

This meeting was scheduled to discuss an application for a new premises licence for Food Rules at 5 Westmoreland Road.
