The Overview & Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the Section 19 Flooding Investigation Report for Wyberton West Road and Park Road, Boston, and to hear how risk management authorities are responding to its recommendations. The committee also reviewed the effectiveness of its current single-committee scrutiny arrangements and considered the Quarter 3 performance report for 2025/26.

The Audit and Governance Committee of Boston Council reviewed the progress of internal audits, the proposed annual plan for the upcoming year, and the external audit strategy for the year ending March 2026. The committee also discussed the council's accounting policies for 2025-26, the annual update on the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) 2000, the Q3 Treasury report for 2025-26, and the Q3 risk report for the same period. Finally, the committee considered its work programme for the current and upcoming years.

The Cabinet of Boston Borough Council met on Wednesday 10 December 2025, approving a new Counter Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Policy and recommending amendments to the Council's Contract Procedure Rules to Full Council. The meeting also noted the Quarter 2 2025/26 financial forecast, which indicated a £0.571 million deficit, and recommended amendments to the Capital Programme for approval.
