The Health and Wellbeing Board of Surrey Council convened to discuss several key issues, including updates on the Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board [^2] (ICB) and the Frimley ICB, the Lifetime of Learning Strategy, and a strategic framework for workforce employment and skills. The board also planned to review progress on a whole system approach to poverty and consider updates on devolution and local government reorganisation.

The Board agreed to formally adopt a Memorandum of Understanding with the Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Partnership that will combine both organisations. The Board also agreed to remove strategic oversight of community safety from its responsibilities and create a new Community Safety and Prevention Board. Finally, the Board approved a new strategy for supporting sanctuary seekers in Surrey.
