Audit and Governance Committee - Thursday, 23rd October, 2025 7.00 pm
The Audit and Governance Committee of Sutton Council met on 23 October 2025 to discuss governance, audit matters, and future planning. Items on the agenda included the annual insurance review, the outcome of a code of conduct hearing panel, the annual complaints report, a review of the risk register and associated mitigation strategies, and a review of savings delivery for 2025. The committee also scheduled time to discuss internal and external audit progress, fraud referrals and investigations, and a provisional work plan.
Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee - Tuesday, 14th October, 2025 7.00 pm
The Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee met to discuss a range of local issues, including updates from community groups, Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP), and highways officers. The committee also addressed public questions regarding traffic calming measures and tennis court usage. Councillor Lisa Webster was appointed Vice Chair of the Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee.

The Sutton Council Planning Committee met on 6 August 2025, and made decisions on three planning applications. Councillors refused an application to increase the number of bedrooms in an existing house in multiple occupation (HMO) at 37 Longfield Avenue, and granted permission for the retention of a pergola at 19 Calico Avenue and for extended hours of operation at the sports hall at Wallington County Grammar School.
