The minutes of the meeting held on the 24th of July were approved without discussion. The Board also approved the publication of a supplementary statement to the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA)[^2] for Lewisham. The Board noted updates on the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) [^3], the implementation of the Birmingham Lewisham African Caribbean Health Inequalities Review (BLACHIR) [^4], and the new Lewisham Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

The Public Accounts Select Committee reviewed the council's financial monitoring and social care commissioning, making recommendations to Mayor and Cabinet on both. The committee also agreed its work programme for the upcoming meeting on 28 November.

The Healthier Communities Select Committee was scheduled to receive an update on Lewisham Council's work with unpaid carers in the borough. They were also scheduled to receive an update on the Council's work with the Social Care Institute for Excellence, and on the performance of adult social care.
