The council is scheduled to meet on 11 December 2025, to discuss and approve the new Corporate Plan, the Corporate Parenting Board Annual Report, and the Youth Justice Plan. Councillors will also consider motions on pavement parking, a new secondary school, and the role of Sport England in planning applications, as well as proposals relating to council tax.

Children's, Young Persons & Education Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 25th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Children's, Young Persons & Education Scrutiny Committee convened to discuss educational outcomes, inclusion, and the progress of children in care. The committee approved recommendations for improving educational standards, supporting inclusive practices, and enhancing support for vulnerable students. They also reviewed and approved the committee's work programme for the coming year.

Council - Thursday 30th October, 2025 6.00 pm

North Northamptonshire Council met to discuss the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Plan, and to agree changes to the political balance on council committees. The council approved the recommendations set out in the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Plan 2024/25, and also approved changes to political balance on its committees.

Children's, Young Persons & Education Scrutiny - Monday 8th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The Children, Young Persons & Education Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), Family Hubs, and school attendance issues in North Northamptonshire. The committee noted positive developments in MASH and the continued focus on early intervention. Members also requested regular updates on the effectiveness and impact of Family Hubs, and on attendance, elective home education and alternative provision.

Council - Wednesday 3rd September, 2025 6.00 pm

At a meeting on 3 September 2025, North Northamptonshire Council discussed a range of issues, including public health, the appointment of independent persons, and political balance on council committees. Councillors approved the Director of Public Health’s annual report, the establishment of an Independent Remuneration Panel, and a scheme for the enrolment of Honorary Aldermen and Alderwomen. They also voted on several motions, approving those related to planning committees and business rates, while rejecting motions concerning a planning issue in Loddington/Cransley, service harmonisation and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
