The Cabinet approved a new Damp and Mould Policy, a new Sufficiency Strategy for Children Looked After and Care Leavers, the school admissions determined arrangements for 2026/27, and the Draft Local Funding Formula for Schools 2025/26. They also agreed that Councillor Vicky Ashworth be added to the membership of the Shareholder Committee.

Integrated Meeting of WF Health & Wellbeing and Health & Care Partnership Boards - Monday, 20th January, 2025 1.00 pm
This meeting was scheduled to be a joint meeting of the Waltham Forest Health and Wellbeing Board and the Health and Care Partnership Board. The meeting was scheduled to discuss topics including the partnership’s joint business plan, the Promoting Wellbeing workstream, the council's response to the recommendations made in the Waltham Forest Marmot Review and a quarterly report on the Better Care Fund.

This meeting was scheduled to consider a report on its Council Tax Support Scheme, its schedule of Fees and Charges for 2025/26, and to approve a range of other measures. It included motions proposed by both the Labour and Conservative groups.
Cabinet - Tuesday, 3rd December, 2024 2.00 pm
The Cabinet made a number of decisions. The most significant of these was to proceed with the planned closure of the Markhouse Centre in Walthamstow. This was despite extensive opposition to the closure from service users, their families and trades unions, including through a petition to keep the centre open. The Cabinet also agreed to the continuation of the ‘All East’ integrated sexual health service in a joint arrangement with Newham, Tower Hamlets and Redbridge, and voted to adopt a new scheme for the Local Council Tax Support Scheme from 2025/26.
