The Council of Buckinghamshire Council met on Wednesday 15 April 2026 to discuss a range of important matters, including proposed changes to street trading controls, amendments to the Members' Code of Conduct, and the Members' Allowances Scheme for the upcoming year. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to reviewing reports from Cabinet Members, covering areas such as strategic finance, culture and leisure, transport, environment, planning, and children's services. The Council's meeting scheduled for Wednesday 25 February 2026 was set to discuss a review of committee proportionality, an amendment to the Medium Term Financial Plan and Capital Programme budgets, and the appointment of a permanent Chief Executive Officer. The meeting agenda also included reports on the Chief Finance Officer's statutory report, the Capital and Investment Strategy, and the Treasury Management Strategy.
