The Environment and Community Services PDS Committee
examines executive decisions and reviews policy on transport
(highways development, traffic, road safety and parking), street
services, waste, recycling and parks and open spaces.
In
accordance with the Council’s Constitution, questions that
are not specific to reports on the agenda must have been received
in writing 10 working days before the date of the
meeting. Please ensure therefore, that questions for the
meeting on March 17th 2026 that are not specific to the
agenda, are received by the Democratic Services Team by 5pm on
March 3rd.
Questions specifically seeking clarification of reports on the
agenda can be received within two working days of the normal
publication date of the agenda. Please ensure that
questions specifically regarding reports on the agenda for the
January meeting are received by the Democratic Services Team by 5pm
on March 11th.
Members of the public
can ask one question per person. Please clarify if you want to ask
your question at the meeting or require a written response.
Questions should be limited to 50 words, and please specify if
you would like to attend the meeting and receive an oral response,
or if you would like to receive a written response post meeting. We
will endeavour to supply written responses as soon as possible
after the meeting. If you attend the meeting to ask your question
in person, you are entitled to a supplementary question based on
the response that you have received to your original
question.
