About

The Pensions Committee monitors the financial position and investment of the Council’s Pension Fund.   Members of the public are permitted to ask one question at each meeting of the Committee. In accordance with the Council’s Constitution, questions from the public that are not specific to reports on the agenda must have been received in writing by 5pm, 10 working days before the date of the meeting.   Questions specifically to clarify reports on the agenda can be received within two working days of the normal publication date of the agenda. The deadline is given on each agenda. At special meetings, only questions relating to reports on the agenda are taken.   The Committee is advised at its meetings by Mr John Arthur, and members of the Council’s Local Pension Board are invited attend all Pensions Committee meetings.
