The Public
Protection and Enforcement, Policy Development and Scrutiny
Committee examines executive decisions and reviews policy on
anti-social behaviour, drug action, youth offending, trading
standards and partnership with the Metropolitan Police.
In accordance with the
Council’s Constitution, questions from the public must have
been received in writing by 5pm, 10 working days before the date of
the meeting. The deadlines for 2025/26 are –
Meeting on
10th September 2025: 5pm on Wednesday 27th
August 2025
Meeting on
20th November 2025: 5pm on Thursday 6th
November 2025
Questions to clarify
details of reports on the agenda must be received within two
working days of the normal publication date of the agenda - the
deadline is given on each agenda.
For the
meeting on 10th September 2025, questions specifically
regarding reports of the agenda should be received by 5pm on
4th September.
Please note that
members of the public are limited to one question per person and
when submitting the question, you should include your name and
address.
When
submitting questions, the question should be limited to 50 words,
and please specify if you would like to attend the meeting and
receive an oral response, or if you would like to receive a written
response post meeting. We will
endeavour to supply written responses as soon as we can after the
meeting.
At special meetings, only
questions relating to reports on the agenda are taken.
