The Member Development and Standards Sub Committee ensures City of London Corporation members have opportunities to develop their specialist knowledge and skills. It also monitors and upholds the Corporation's standards regime.
The sub-committee agrees training and development programmes for members. It promotes high standards of conduct, assists members in observing the Code of Conduct, and reviews and recommends revisions to the Member Code of Conduct and related guidance. It also reviews the Employee Code of Conduct and the Protocol on Member/Officer Relations, making recommendations to the Corporate Services Committee.
