Appeals Committee

The Appeals Committee is comprised of 5 members, including one member of the Executive, who are not also members of the Chief Officers’ Employment Panel.  The Committee shall hear appeals by the Head of Paid Service, Chief Finance Officer and Monitoring Officer under the relevant disciplinary procedure against action taken against them short of dismissal.   The Committee may uphold the decision or reduce or remove the action.
