About

The Planning Policy Advisory Panel provides input on planning policy development within Harrow. It considers the Local Development Framework, including Development Plan Documents, and representations received on these. The panel also advises on other planning policy matters, such as Conservation Areas and locally listed buildings.

Additionally, the committee makes recommendations to the Cabinet regarding the use of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funds and reviews changes to the CIL Charging Schedule and Supplementary Planning Documents. It oversees the implementation of the Borough Wide CIL / Infrastructure Delivery Plan and the development of proposals for major development sites, including reviewing pre-application proposals and site-specific briefs.
