About

The Licensing Regulatory Committee, composed of four elected members, is responsible for making decisions on licensing matters not covered by the Licensing Act 2003. This includes decisions relating to street markets, track betting, and special treatment registrations. The committee's remit is distinct from the council's Licensing Committee and its sub-committees, which handle alcohol licensing and other matters governed by the Licensing Act 2003.
