Membership Each Licensing Sub-Committee shall comprise 3 members, drawn from the membership of the Licensing (2003 Act) Committee. The Chair of each Sub-Committee shall either be the Chair or the Deputy Chair(s) of the Licensing (2003 Act) Committee. Terms of Reference The determination of applications received under the transitional arrangements for the conversion of existing licenses to licenses issued under the Licensing Act 2003 or any application made in relation to statutory functions delegated to the committee by the Gambling Act 2005, in any of the following circumstances: (a) Where there is a valid objection to the application; or (b) Where the Chief Officer feels that because of its nature the application should be referred to the Committee for determination. To consider by way of a hearing by the Sub-Committee any application for a license under the Licensing Act 2003 where any objection or relevant representation is received to such an application.
