Cabinet — Tunbridge Wells

The Cabinet is collectively responsible for all executive functions of Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, operating within the budget and framework set by the Full Council. Its remit covers most council matters, excluding those specifically reserved for the Full Council or delegated to other committees like Planning or Licensing.

The Cabinet makes decisions on a wide range of services and policies, with individual members holding specific day-to-day responsibilities across areas such as economic development, environment, finance, housing, and planning. Members of the public can attend meetings to observe, and may speak on agenda items with prior notice, unless confidential information is being discussed.
