The Environment and Climate Change Overview and Scrutiny Committee of Leicestershire Council met on Wednesday 10 September 2025. Annual Review of Leicestershire Country Parks

The committee was scheduled to conduct an annual review of Leicestershire Country Parks. The report for review was submitted by the Director of Corporate Resources.

Time was scheduled for the committee to answer questions from the public, and questions asked by members under Standing Order 7(3) and 7(5).

The agenda also included a list of questions agreed by scrutiny members as a good starting point for developing questions:

• Who was consulted and what were they consulted on? What is the process for and quality of the consultation?
• How have the voices of local people and frontline staff been heard?
• What does success look like?
• What is the history of the service and what will be different this time?
