The Appointments and Disciplinary Committee of Croydon Council met on Monday 20 October 2025 to conduct interviews for senior positions within the council. The meeting began in public session, during which standard procedural items were addressed, before moving into a private session to conduct the interviews.

Appointment to Director of Assets and Repairs

The committee progressed to interview shortlisted candidates for the position of Director of Assets and Repairs. This role, along with salary details, was previously outlined in the agenda pack for the meeting held on 1 October 2025. The interviews for this post were conducted in private, as is standard procedure for such appointments, and the committee moved to Part B of the meeting to facilitate this.

Appointment to Director of Planning and Sustainable Regeneration

Similarly, the committee also interviewed shortlisted candidates for the role of Director of Planning and Sustainable Regeneration. Details regarding this position and its associated salary were also made available in the public agenda pack for the 1 October 2025 meeting. These interviews also took place in a private session (Part B) of the meeting.

The meeting concluded with the exclusion of the press and public to allow for these confidential interviews, in accordance with Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
