The Licensing Sub-Committee granted a new premises licence to Hagen Espresso Bar, located at 52 Hill Street, Richmond, TW9 1TW. The licence permits the sale of alcohol for both on and off-site consumption between 10:00 and 18:00, Monday to Sunday. The premises will also be open to the public during these hours.

Planning Committee - Wednesday, 17 December 2025 7.00 pm

The Richmond upon Thames Council planning committee is scheduled to meet to discuss planning applications and other related matters. The main item on the agenda is a proposal to change the use of the Shacklegate Lane Allotment in Teddington from allotments to a cemetery. The committee will also review the minutes from their previous meeting.

The Richmond upon Thames Council meeting on 2 December 2025 saw the approval of a new Public Spaces Protection Order to tackle vehicle idling, a significant step towards improving air quality in the borough. The council also debated and ultimately amended a motion concerning affordable housing, with a focus on increasing social rent properties, and discussed the ongoing challenges and future strategies for adult social care.
