Harrow Council met to discuss a range of issues, including the adoption of an urgent motion condemning the Labour government's budget, petitions relating to road safety and resurfacing, and a motion opposing the planned closure of the volunteer-led front desk at Pinner Police Station. Pension Fund Committee - Monday 17 November 2025 6.30 pm

The Harrow Council Pension Fund Committee endorsed a draft funding strategy statement to be sent for consultation, and reviewed updates on investment pooling, risk management, and code of practice compliance. The committee also approved a revised responsible investment policy.

Traffic and Road Safety Advisory Panel - Wednesday 15 October 2025 6.30 pm

The Traffic and Road Safety Advisory Panel (TARSAP) met to discuss updates on various traffic, parking, and road safety initiatives across the borough. Discussions included concerns about Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) implementation, bus lane designs, school safety, and the Travel for Life programme. The panel also reviewed reports on petitions, parking programmes, traffic schemes, and sustainable travel.

(Special Meeting), Traffic and Road Safety Advisory Panel - Monday 29 September 2025 6.30 pm

The Traffic and Road Safety Advisory Panel met to discuss and unanimously recommend that Harrow Council's Leader of the Council approve the implementation of a red route in parts of Rayners Lane, Alexandra Avenue and Village Way East to improve traffic flow, access to parking and loading, and reduce congestion. The panel also recommended delegating authority to the Strategic Director of Culture, Environment and Economy, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Finance and Highways, to agree the terms of the experimental traffic management order, having undertaken further pre-order engagement, and to make decisions to withdraw the order or make modifications to it during the experimental period. Finally, the panel noted that a decision on whether to make a permanent order will go to Cabinet for approval.
