Local Planning Committee - Tuesday, 25th February, 2025 6.30 pm
The committee approved an application to convert a residential lobby into a cafe at 7 Warman Walk, Greenwich Millennium Village. The committee also refused an application for a change of use from a single dwelling house to a five-bedroom HMO at 61 Macoma Road, Plumstead, and deferred a decision on an application for a temporary change of use of a cafe to a marketing suite at 1 Oswald Gardens, Greenwich Millennium Village.
Transport and Place Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 6th February, 2025 6.30 pm
This meeting's agenda is an opportunity for Councillors to scrutinise transport providers in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Representatives from Southeastern Railway, Network Rail and Govia Thameslink Railway are scheduled to provide updates on their activities in the Borough. The meeting is also an opportunity for the Panel to review future work items.

The Council agreed to reduce the maximum level of support available through the Local Council Tax Support Scheme 2025-26 from 100% to 80% and agreed to reduce the time before charging a Council Tax Premium to unfurnished and unoccupied properties from 2 years to 12 months. They also noted the appointment of Councillor Sandra Bauer as the new Cabinet Member for Equality, Culture and Communities, and voted to adopt a motion on protecting leaseholders from the cost of fire safety remediation work.
Local Planning Committee - Tuesday, 28th January, 2025 6.30 pm
The Royal Borough of Greenwich's Local Planning Committee met to consider a planning application for the construction of six new homes. The committee voted unanimously to defer their decision pending a site visit, which was requested by several local residents and the three ward councillors who called the application in to committee, Councillor Matt Hartley, Councillor Roger Tester, and Councillor Cathy Dowse.
General Purposes Committee - Thursday, 23rd January, 2025 6.30 pm
The meeting agreed the salary range for the Director of Public Health, and noted the Chief Executive's authority to establish an appointments panel. The meeting also agreed the salary ranges for eight new positions in the Resources Directorate.
