Lancashire Combined County Authority - Audit and Governance Committee - Monday, 22nd September, 2025 3.00 pm
The Audit and Governance Committee of Lancashire County Council met to discuss a range of topics, including an update from the Interim Chief Operating Officer, an overview of the role of external audit provided by KPMG, an internal audit progress report, and the corporate risk and opportunity register. The committee approved the Corporate Risk and Opportunity Register, and the Audit and Governance Committee Work Programme for 2025/26. The Regulatory Committee of Lancashire County Council met to discuss several matters relating to public rights of way, including definitive map modification orders and diversion of footpaths. The committee approved making orders for changes to public footpaths and bridleways at Higher Simpson Fold, Eyes Lane, Coronation Field, Written Stone Farm and The Weald. They also discussed a progress report on previous committee items and guidance for committee members.
