The Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee was scheduled to discuss the reprovision of services at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC) and receive updates on the Care Closer to Home
initiative. The committee was also due to consider a formal scrutiny response to the public consultation on proposed changes to services currently provided at MVCC.

Draft West London Waste Plan – approval to publish the pre submission version for comment (Regulation 19)

Harrow Council's Cabinet decided on 11 June 2026 to recommend to Council the approval of the publication of the pre-submission version of the West London Waste Plan for comment. The Cabinet also recommended that delegated authority be given to the Chief Planning Officer to make minor modifications and submit the plan to the Secretary of State. The decision included recommending that the Regulation 19 Proposed Submission version of the West London Waste Plan be used for development management purposes.
