Cabinet - Tuesday, 25 November 2025 2.00 pm

The Surrey County Council cabinet met to discuss the draft budget for 2026/27, which forecasts a £21.3 million gap, and to review the climate change delivery plan progress report, which shows a 47% reduction in council emissions since 2019. The cabinet also approved a revised charging policy for adult social care, and agreed to recommend the coordinated admissions scheme for 2027 to the full council. Additionally, the cabinet discussed and approved recommendations related to the reorganisation of local government in Surrey.

Strategic Investment Board - Thursday, 13 November 2025 10.30 am

The Strategic Investment Board met to discuss the corporate overview business plans and the corporate investment overview, focusing on the 2025/26 performance review. The board approved the recommendations as per the part 1 report.

Cabinet - Tuesday, 28 October 2025 2.00 pm

The Surrey County Council cabinet met to discuss the government's reorganisation of local government in Surrey, which will see the county's 12 councils replaced with two unitary councils in April 2027, and to address a number of other issues including a petition against the booking system trial at Camberley and Lyne Recycling Centres, and the expansion of the Woodland School. The cabinet also approved an increase in the net revenue budget of £1.274.8 million due to additional public health funding.
