Licensing Sub Committee - Tuesday, 14th October, 2025 6.30 p.m.

The Licensing Sub Committee met to discuss new premise licence applications for Best Kebab by Lokanta 82, Niu Hot Pot, and Silver Raven. The sub committee agreed to extend the decision deadline for Best Kebab by Lokanta 82 and adjourned the meeting to reach a decision on the temporary event notice application.

Licensing Sub Committee - Thursday, 2nd October, 2025 2.00 p.m.

The Licensing Sub Committee convened to address several licensing matters, including a review of a premises licence, applications for a new premises licence and a transfer of a premises licence, and a temporary event notice. The most significant discussion revolved around the review of the premises licence for AM to PM/Food Giant Express, due to concerns raised by the police and Trading Standards regarding breaches of licensing objectives. The sub committee also discussed a new premises licence for Pick Pic, and a temporary event notice for Vittoria Wharf Studio.

Licensing Sub Committee - Thursday, 25th September, 2025 2.00 p.m.

The Licensing Sub Committee convened to discuss a temporary event notice (TEN) for 41 Braithwaite Street and an application for a new premises licence for Vittoria Wharf Studio. The committee refused the TEN application due to concerns about public safety and nuisance, and deferred the decision on the premises licence for Vittoria Wharf Studio.

Licensing Regulatory Committee - Thursday, 18th September, 2025 6.30 p.m.

The Licensing Regulatory Committee met to consider the application for the renewal of the Sexual Entertainment Venue (SEV) licence for The Nags Head, located at 17-19 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1DU. The committee heard from the applicant, objectors, and considered reports from council officers, before adjourning to make a decision. The decision was deferred and will be made at a later date.

Licensing Sub Committee - Thursday, 4th September, 2025 6.30 p.m.

The Licensing Sub Committee convened to discuss a new premises licence application and to consider extensions to decision deadlines for other applications. The committee reviewed an application for a new premise licence for Convenience 65, ultimately adjourning the meeting to consider the application further. Additionally, the committee agreed to extend the decision deadlines for applications relating to the Aldi store on Commercial Road, M&M Local on White Church Lane, and Pick Pic on Bethnal Green Road.
