Pensions Committee - Thursday, 26th September, 2024 7.00 pm
This meeting was about the Islington Council Pension Fund. It included presentations and discussions on the fund’s performance, the adoption of an updated investment strategy, and on funding matters.
Council - Thursday, 19th September, 2024 7.15 pm
The meeting included announcements from the Mayor and the Leader of the Council. It then moved on to consider a petition calling for the Council to divest funds from institutions engaged in illegal occupations and crimes against humanity. The Council then approved seven motions that had been submitted by Councillors. It also approved a number of reports, including a report on the Council’s budget, and made a number of appointments.

Pensions Committee - Wednesday, 24th July, 2024 7.00 pm, NEW
The Pensions Committee was scheduled to receive presentations on shareholder voting guidance from PIRC, the Pensions & Investment Research Consultants Ltd, and on the performance of the Pension Fund from 1 January to 31 March 2024. The committee was also scheduled to receive a report from officers on the implementation of the Investment Strategy agreed at the previous meeting.
Executive - Thursday, 18th July, 2024 7.00 pm
The Executive voted to approve all of the items on the agenda, including the adoption of the People Friendly Streets Individual Exemption Policy, a new payment plan for leaseholders facing major works charges, and the extension of a contract for parking enforcement services. Councillors also discussed the redevelopment of the Finsbury Leisure Centre, a new strategy for tackling food insecurity, and the renewal of the lease on two units of the Bush Industrial Estate.

Local Initiatives Fund
