The Melton Cabinet decided to approve recommendations regarding the BID ballot. The Cabinet decided to approve recommendations regarding legal action on Local Government Reorganisation on 14 October 2026. The Cabinet delegated authority to the Monitoring Officer to commence and join Judicial Review proceedings to challenge the Secretary of State's decision on local government reorganisation.
