The Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee of Wiltshire Council was scheduled to meet on Wednesday 28 January 2026 to review the council's performance and risk monitoring for the third quarter of the 2025/26 financial year. The committee was also set to consider the executive's response to recommendations from a rapid scrutiny exercise on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), discuss a proposal for a task group to review Area Board grant funding, and receive updates from various task groups and select committees.

Wiltshire Council's extraordinary meeting on 7 January 2026 saw a significant debate on the proposed disposal of St Stephen's Multi-Storey Car Park in Trowbridge, which was ultimately defeated by a tied vote.
