Children's Trust Joint Committee - Wednesday, 28 January 2026 - 11.00 am

The Children's Trust Joint Committee met on Wednesday 28 January 2026 to approve the Northamptonshire Children's Trust Business Plan for 2026/27 to 2028/29 and to note the Trust's 2025/26 forecast position and savings. The committee also approved recommendations regarding the Northamptonshire Children's Trust Business Plan 2026/27 - 2028/29 and the 2026/27 Contract Sum, Savings and Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP).

Extraordinary Council, Council - Thursday 22nd January, 2026 6.00 pm

The Council of North Northamptonshire Council met on Thursday 22 January 2026, approving recommendations from a Corporate Peer Challenge progress review, a revised scheme for councillors' allowances, and the municipal timetable for 2026/27. The council also approved changes to its planning committee arrangements.

Executive - Tuesday, 20 January 2026 - 10.00 am

The Executive of North Northamptonshire Council approved a four-year contract for the procurement of waste and recycling containers and adopted an updated Highway Network Management Plan. They also agreed to proceed with the development of a town centre masterplan for Wellingborough, followed by Kettering, and decided to prepare the new Local Plan under the Government's revised development plan system.

Schools Forum - Thursday 15th January, 2026 1.00 pm

The North Northamptonshire Schools Forum meeting scheduled for 15 January 2026 was set to address the financial settlement for schools in the upcoming academic year, including detailed breakdowns of the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) and its various blocks. Discussions were also planned around the mainstream schools funding formula, central school services, early years provision, and the high needs block, alongside policies for pupil growth funding and managing funding following permanent exclusions.

Executive - Tuesday 16th December, 2025 10.00 am

The Executive of North Northamptonshire Council is scheduled to meet on 16 December 2025 to discuss the council's budget, medium-term financial plan, and capital programme, as well as updates on efficiency reviews and strategic risks. The meeting will also cover the Housing Revenue Account and various policy updates.
