Council - Thursday 11th December, 2025 6.00 pm

During the meeting of North Northamptonshire Council, held on 11 December 2025, councillors approved the Corporate Parenting Board Annual Report 2024-25, the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Plan 2025-26, and the terms of reference for a Community Governance Review. They also agreed to introduce council tax premiums for long-term empty properties and second homes, and set the council tax base for 2026/27.

Schools Forum - Thursday 11th December, 2025 1.00 pm

The North Northamptonshire Schools Forum met on 11 December 2025 to discuss a range of issues including Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) monitoring, school budget updates, and proposals for funding transfers and de-delegation for the 2026-27 financial year. The forum was also scheduled to discuss a permanent exclusions clawback policy update, and to receive an update on the consultation regarding a transfer from the Schools Block to the High Needs Block.

New time and venue, Children's Trust Joint Committee - Wednesday 12th November, 2025 3.00 pm

The Children's Trust Joint Committee convened to discuss key issues affecting children's services in North Northamptonshire and West Northamptonshire. Councillor Mark Arnull was appointed as Co-Chair for West Northamptonshire Council. The committee also addressed the Northamptonshire Children's Trust's financial forecast for 2025/26, and approved the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Plan 2025/26.

Executive - Tuesday 11th November, 2025 10.00 am

The Executive of North Northamptonshire Council met on Tuesday 11 November 2025, approving a new Corporate Plan for 2025-2029, adopting the Great Addington Neighbourhood Plan, and making key decisions on the council's future fleet strategy and financial performance. Several policy updates and contract procurements were also approved, including changes to Council Tax premiums and a new Housing Fire Safety Policy.

Council - Thursday 30th October, 2025 6.00 pm

North Northamptonshire Council met to discuss the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Plan, and to agree changes to the political balance on council committees. The council approved the recommendations set out in the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Plan 2024/25, and also approved changes to political balance on its committees.
