Permission was refused for a change of use from a residential dwelling to a children's care home at 6 Green View, and for the demolition of a single-storey rear extension and change of use of a dwelling to a shop at 4-10 Macdonald Road.

The Adult Social Care Scrutiny Commission met to discuss dementia support, a new performance dashboard, and an update on the Leading Better Lives programme. The commission was also scheduled to discuss the work programme for the coming year and receive a verbal update on the Care Quality Commission (CQC) position.

Children, Young People and Education Scrutiny Commission - Wednesday, 18 June 2025 5:30 pm

The Children, Young People and Education Scrutiny Commission met to discuss the Families First Programme, a performance dashboard for social care and education, and an improvement plan for children's social care, early help, and prevention. The commission was also scheduled to discuss questions raised by Dr Nizamuddin Patel regarding Ofsted's report on children's services. The meeting also included an introduction to the CYPE Scrutiny Commission.
