The Executive of North Northamptonshire Council decided on 11 August 2026 to formally make the Grafton Underwood Neighbourhood Plan. The Executive Director of Place was authorised to publicise the decision and make minor typographical or formatting amendments to the plan prior to publication.

The Executive of North Northamptonshire Council approved recommendations on 11/08/2026. They delegated authority to the Executive Director Children’s Services, in consultation with the Executive Director of Finance and Executive Member for Children, Education and Families, to approve the re-commissioning of the Holiday Activities and Food programme and to award contracts for its provision. This includes the award of a 2-year contract with the potential for two 1-year extensions.

The Executive decided to approve the proposed write-off of outstanding National Non-Domestic Rates debts on 14/07/2026. The decision was made to write off debts considered irrecoverable.

The Audit and Governance Committee approved the minutes of their meeting held on 20 April 2026 as a true record on 15 June 2026.

The Employment Committee established a Sub-Committee to undertake the selection and appointment for the Executive Director of Children's Services on 18 June 2026. This Sub-Committee will shortlist, interview, and appoint candidates.

The Executive approved the phased transition of all currently externally operated leisure centres to an in-house delivery model during 2027-2028 on 11 August 2026. Authority was delegated to the Director for Communities and Leisure to take necessary actions for this transition.

The Executive of North Northamptonshire Council approved the Finance and Performance Report for Q1 on 11 August 2026. The report noted a General Fund overspend of £14.962m, a Housing Revenue Account underspend of £433k, and a Dedicated Schools Grant deficit of £29.525m. The Executive approved the inclusion of £365k from Smoothing Reserves for the Fabric System, Corby Town Plan development, and preparatory work for the Renters' Rights Act.
