Culture and Environment Scrutiny Committee - Monday, 8th December, 2025 6.30 pm

The Culture and Environment Scrutiny Committee are scheduled to meet to discuss the Climate Action Plan 2026-2030, receive an update on the Camden Transport Strategy, and hear from the Cabinet Member for Planning and a Sustainable Camden. They will also discuss their work programme for the 2025/26 municipal year.

The Camden Council meeting on 17 November 2025 will include a themed debate on child poverty, a discussion of the Euston Area Plan, and consideration of several motions. There will also be a deputation from UNISON regarding school support staff.

The Culture and Environment Scrutiny Committee was scheduled to meet on 10 November 2025 to discuss a range of topics, including community safety, cultural strategy, and tree planting initiatives. The committee was also expected to review its work programme for the 2025/26 municipal year. Additionally, the meeting was to include discussion of two deputations, one regarding opening hours at Hampstead Cemetery and another concerning the location of bike hangars on Dartmouth Park Avenue.

Audit and Corporate Governance (Appointment Panel) Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 14th October, 2025 1.30 pm

The Audit and Corporate Governance (Appointment Panel) Sub-Committee met to discuss the appointment of a new Executive Director Homes and Communities. The Sub-Committee was scheduled to note the appointment process, job details and progress made to date, interview candidates, and potentially recommend a candidate for the role. Councillors were asked to consider advice within the Executive Director Homes and Communities Final Member Panel Report and could seek further advice during the meeting.

Council - Monday, 21st July, 2025 7.00 pm

The Council of Camden Council scheduled a meeting for 21 July 2025, where they were expected to discuss a range of topics, including amendments to motions, cultural investments, homelessness, and the adoption of the Hampstead Neighbourhood Plan. The meeting was also scheduled to include a statement by the Leader of the Council, Councillor Richard Olszewski, and a question and answer session with cabinet members.
