The Full Council approved updates to the County Council's Constitution on 15/10/2026. The Full Council noted amendments made since July 2026 and approved recommendations from the Political Governance Working Group. This included adding two observers from the Lancashire Parent Carer Forum to the Children, Families and Skills Scrutiny Committee and amending standing orders for notices of motion.

The Full Council of Lancashire Council approved revised allocations of committee seats and associated appointments on 15/10/2026. The council noted the current political composition and the revised allocation of seats on politically balanced committees. It approved the appointment of county councillors to these committees based on nominations from political groups.
