New and Old Malden Neighbourhood Committee - Tuesday 7 October 2025 7:30 pm

The New and Old Malden Neighbourhood Committee met to discuss community grants, a speed reduction programme, and the proposed Local Implementation Plan (LIP) programme. The committee approved a Neighbourhood Community Grant of £3,000 for Voices of Hope and a reduced grant of £1,496 for the New Malden Town Centre Partnership, with an additional £700 to be sourced from Councillor Ward Funding. The committee also approved the recommendations for the proposed LIP programme, delegating adjustments and prioritisation to the Director Highways, Transport and Regulatory Services in consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holder, should funding levels be reduced by Transport for London (TfL).

Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday 7 October 2025 9:45 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Kingston upon Thames Council met on 7 October 2025 to discuss two applications for new premises licences under the Licensing Act 2003. The committee granted the application for Ramos Restaurant with additional conditions, and granted in part the application for The Secret Garden, also with conditions. Councillor James Giles was appointed Chair of the meeting.

Standards Sub-Committee - Tuesday 30 September 2025 10:00 am

The Standards Sub-Committee of Kingston upon Thames Council met to consider a complaint against a councillor, and to confirm the procedure for hearings before the sub-committee. It was also scheduled to consider excluding the press and public from part of the meeting.

Kingston Partnership Board - Thursday 25 September 2025 2:00 pm

The Kingston Partnership Board met to discuss the 10-year health plan, the pharmaceutical needs assessment, and the Kingston compact. The board approved the Kingston Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2025 and the plan to maintain it until 2028. The board also approved the Kingston Compact 2025-2028, which aims to strengthen partnerships between the council, the NHS, and the voluntary sector.

Place Committee - Thursday 18 September 2025 7:30 pm

The Kingston upon Thames Place Committee met to discuss the implementation of a lane rental scheme and to receive an annual update on the Seething Wells Filter Beds. The committee agreed in principle to implement a Lane Rental Scheme in the borough and delegated authority to the Director of Highways, Transport and Regulatory Services, in consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holder, to progress the application to join the London Borough Lane Rental Scheme. The committee also noted the updates regarding the Seething Wells Filter Beds.
