At a meeting of Croydon Council, the lead commissioner gave a statement on behalf of the commissioners, the council approved recommendations regarding external audit findings and extension to the term of the Independent Chair of Audit and Governance Committee, and councillors debated traffic calming measures on Spa Hill and improvements to Courtwood Park. The council also discussed a range of questions from the public, including concerns about building safety at The Fold and Malcolm Wicks House.

Health & Wellbeing Board - Wednesday, 15th October, 2025 2.00 pm

The Croydon Council Health and Wellbeing Board convened to discuss mental health initiatives, anti-racism efforts, the Better Care Fund, and the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, among other items. The board agreed to publish the 2025 Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, and also approved plans for a workshop to shape the council's strategic approach to anti-racism.

Corporate Parenting Board - Wednesday, 17th September, 2025 5.15 pm

The Croydon Council's Corporate Parenting Board met on 17 September 2025, receiving updates on the Children's Participation Team, health services, and performance, while also discussing the experiences of children in care and care leavers. The board agreed to receive an update on transitioning work and deferred discussion of the Care Leaver Offer 2025-27 to a later meeting.

Council - Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 6.30 pm

Croydon Council met on 16 July 2025, and among other business, agreed to changes to the council's constitution, and debated petitions relating to plant-based food and local issues. The council also discussed concerns raised by residents in Croydon Question Time.

Extraordinary Council Meeting, Council - Thursday, 10th July, 2025 6.30 pm

Croydon Council held an extraordinary meeting to discuss the potential implications of the Secretary of State's intention to appoint commissioners to the council. The council agreed to note a report from Statutory Officers on the matter, and then heard a statement from Mayor Jason Perry, followed by questions from councillors. The council discussed the government's proposal, the council's financial position, and the potential impact on services.
