Cabinet Member for Children, Families and Lifelong Learning Decisions - Tuesday, 23 September 2025 12.00 pm

In a meeting on 23 September 2025, Councillor Jonathan Hulley, Cabinet Member for Children, Families and Lifelong Learning, approved a consultation on proposed changes to school admission arrangements for 2027 and noted the deficits of maintained schools. The consultation will address proposed reductions in published admission numbers for some primary schools and a proposal to link infant schools with junior schools. Councillor Hulley also approved licensed deficits for two state schools.

Cabinet - Tuesday, 23 September 2025 2.00 pm

The Surrey County Council cabinet met on 23 September 2025, and agreed to consult on ceasing the Twelve15 catering service, approved a youth justice plan, and discussed devolution and local government reorganisation. They also approved a school basic need strategy, and the reprovision of the Bookham Community Centre. Finally, they agreed to submit a bid for funding from Active Travel England[^2].

Health and Wellbeing Board and Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Partnership Combined Meeting - Wednesday, 10 September 2025 10.00 am

The Health and Wellbeing Board of Surrey Council convened to discuss several key issues, including updates on the Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board [^2] (ICB) and the Frimley ICB, the Lifetime of Learning Strategy, and a strategic framework for workforce employment and skills. The board also planned to review progress on a whole system approach to poverty and consider updates on devolution and local government reorganisation.

Cabinet - Tuesday, 22 July 2025 2.00 pm

The Surrey County Council cabinet met to discuss a range of issues, including approving additional investment in services for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), reviewing progress on adult social care improvements, and addressing financial challenges.
