This meeting will include the discussion of five planning applications across Westminster. Councillors will be asked to make decisions on applications for self-storage, residential and commercial developments, as well as proposals to make alterations to a listed building and the public highway.

Council - Wednesday 22nd January, 2025 7.00 pm

This meeting was scheduled to include a motion to approve the appointment of Janet Kealey as an independent person to the council’s standards committee, a debate on the opportunities and challenges faced by residents of Harrow Road ward, a series of reports on the City Plan, homelessness, and reform of planning committees, and a report on Council Tax.

Planning Sub-Committee (1) - Tuesday 7th January, 2025 6.30 pm

The Planning Sub-Committee (1) of Westminster Council met on Tuesday 7th January 2025 to consider two planning applications. The committee granted conditional planning permission for alterations and changes of use at Park House on Oxford Street. For the application at 10 Greycoat Place, the committee resolved that had an appeal against non-determination not been received, planning permission would have been granted, with an amendment to a condition regarding planting.

Housing and Regeneration Policy and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday 5th December, 2024 7.00 pm

The 5 December meeting of the Housing and Regeneration Policy and Scrutiny Committee was scheduled to include reports on a finding of severe maladministration by the Housing Ombudsman Service, and the challenges faced by the Council in implementing regeneration schemes.

Planning Sub-Committee (1) - Tuesday 3rd December, 2024 6.30 pm

This meeting was about two planning applications: a major office development at 58-70 Old Compton Street and the repainting of bollards on Floral Street. It also appears to have included a discussion, in private, about the confirmation or otherwise of a tree preservation order. The document pack provided to the attendees for the meeting does not describe what was actually discussed, or what decisions were made, only what was scheduled to be discussed.
