2025/26 Q4 Performance Report

The Leader of the Council decided on 11 September 2026 to approve the movement of £200,000 from the pipeline into the main capital programme for tree removal and replacement in 2026/2027. This decision supports the Council's Climate Action Plan and involves tree removal, management, and planting.

2026/27 Q1 Treasury Monitoring

The Cabinet of Enfield Council decided to note the borrowing and investments position and estimates as at 30th June 2026 and Quarter 1 estimates for financial year 2026/27. They also approved the principle that any further capital financing underspends will be used to repay debt. The Cabinet agreed to reduce the capital financing budget by £3m to be vired to Adult Social Care.

Treasury Management Outturn Report 2025/26

The Cabinet of Enfield Council agreed to note the Treasury Outturn position for 2025/26 on 24 June 2026.
Olga Bennet, Chief Finance Officer, approved the use of the ESPO 82_25 framework and the NHS Food Framework to award corporate food contracts. This decision was made on 11 June 2026. The decision includes awarding call-off contracts to Thomas Ridley, Bidvest, and Prescott Thomas for a total value of £950,000 and £250,000 respectively, over a four-year period. Contract management will be supported by Procurement Services.

Energetik Strategic Review - Update

The Leader of the Council decided on 01/07/2026 to approve recommendations for a review of current bin collection arrangements. This review will explore the benefits, process, and cost implications of moving from fortnightly to weekly collections for dry mixed recycling and general refuse. Officers are requested to explore impacts on recycling rates, environmental implications, and route optimisation as part of this review.
