Planning Committee - Tuesday 9th September 2025 10.00 am

The Boston Borough Council Planning Committee approved the construction of a retail unit on land south of Swineshead Road, including car parking and landscaping. The development, intended for a Marks & Spencer (M&S) food store, is subject to several conditions and a Section 106 agreement[^2] to mitigate its impact. The Licensing Sub-Committee for Boston Borough Council convened a meeting to consider a premises licence application and to discuss the exclusion of the public and press from the hearing. The primary focus was an application for a new premises licence for Jaffna Ltd, trading as Premier Pilgrim's Convenience, located at 3-4 Market Place, Boston. This was prompted by a relevant representation received by Lincolnshire Police.
