Licensing Sub-Committee C - Friday, 3rd January, 2025 10.30 am
The Licensing Sub-Committee C of the Royal Borough of Greenwich met on Friday 3 January 2025 and approved both of the applications that were considered. The meeting saw the application for a new off-licence at 112 Westmount Road, Eltham approved with conditions, despite concerns raised by local residents. The meeting also saw the application for a new premises licence for the refurbished Borough Hall, Royal Hill, Greenwich approved, after the applicant, agreed to restrict the hours for licensable activities to 11pm, except on Saturdays, when licensable activities would be permitted until 1am.
Council - Wednesday, 4th December, 2024 7.00 pm
The Council welcomed two new Councillors following recent by-election successes, offered its condolences following the death of former Councillor John Cartwright, and agreed to note five petition responses and the answers to 36 written questions. The Council adopted a new gambling policy and noted the Royal Borough of Greenwich Strategic Risk Register, the Treasury and Capital Strategy mid-year update, and a revised constitution.
Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel - Wednesday, 13th November, 2024 6.30 pm
This meeting covered a range of topics relating to the activities and performance of the Council's Children's Services in supporting children in care, care leavers and other vulnerable groups in the borough. It included an overview of corporate parenting activities, a report on complaints and compliments, and presentations on several services.

Licensing Committee - Tuesday, 29th October, 2024 6.30 pm
The Licensing Committee agreed unanimously to commend the revised Statement of Gambling Policy to Full Council for adoption. The new policy removes the practice of writing to residents to inform them about licensing applications, but there were no other substantive changes to the previous policy.
